Changelog
What's new in each version of Signature MCP. The version you download here updates itself; get the latest.
Version 1.0.10
- Updates you notice. When Signature MCP finds an update while you're in another app, it no longer opens a window that can end up behind your other windows. Its menu bar icon gets a small dot, and the panel shows Update Available.
- Connect your AI once more, whenever it's needed. If you install a new copy of Signature MCP while an older one is still on your Mac and remove the older one later, Signature MCP now reminds you to give your AI apps the setup prompt again.
Version 1.0.9
- Works with ChatGPT. The ChatGPT desktop app left Signature MCP out of its chats: Signature MCP refused a part of ChatGPT's handshake that it doesn't even need. It now reads only what it uses, and ChatGPT's chats can use it.
Version 1.0.8
- Stays quit. After you quit Signature MCP, it stays closed while your AI app starts or opens a new session. It starts again when your AI asks for a signature.
Version 1.0.7
- No space in the file name. The app's file is now named SignatureMCP, and so is the command your AI starts: some AI apps can't start a command with a space in it. You still read the name as Signature MCP everywhere.
- Your AI apps stay connected. This update keeps the file name your copy has, and the old command keeps working. If you move or rename the app later, Signature MCP tells you to paste the setup prompt once more.
- Works through a link. A link to the program from another folder, say one on your PATH, now starts Signature MCP too.
Version 1.0.6
- Smaller download. Signature MCP now takes about half the space on your Mac. Nothing else has changed.
Version 1.0.5
- Done signing? Your AI can now close Signature MCP for you. It asks first, and the app starts again by itself the next time a signature is needed.
- Can't find the icon? Open Signature MCP again while it's running and it tells you where its menu bar icon is, or that it's hidden behind the notch and how to make room.
Version 1.0.4
- Sharp at any size. In the signed PDF your signature is now drawn as curves and the company text is real text: crisp when zoomed or printed, and the text can be selected and found.
- Company text as its own box. Move it clear of printed labels and resize it. It keeps a readable size, follows your signature, and remembers the size and place you chose.
- The stamp belongs to your signature. It starts beside it, moves along with it, and remembers its size and place too. Reset puts either one back.
- One box at a time. Only the box you're adjusting shows its outline and handle; click another to adjust that one.
- Pinch and keys work at once, without clicking in the window first.
Version 1.0.3
- Fixed: the signing window opens in the middle of the screen again. It could open too far down and to the right, partly off the screen.
Version 1.0.2
- Made for the mouse, too. A small bar over the document turns pages and zooms. Hold ⌘ and turn the scroll wheel to zoom, drag a page to move it, and use Page Up and Page Down.
- Zoom where you look. Zooming keeps the spot under the pointer in place, and pinching is smoother.
- Try It with a document. The test now opens a sample agreement, so you see the whole thing: the pages, the signature box on its line, the pad.
- Fixed: a click that ends signing on the trackpad no longer leaves a dot or starts the mode again.
- Company text has a little more space between its lines.
Version 1.0.1
- Updates itself. Signature MCP now downloads and installs new versions for you, after one click.
- A signature box that fits. The box keeps its size while you write, and your signature is fitted into it.
- Easier to place. Moving and resizing the box is smooth, with a larger handle.
- Click to finish. When you sign on the trackpad, a click ends it, like any key.
- For AI apps: they can now give the signature field's height as well as its width.
Version 1.0
- The first version. Your AI agent asks for your signature in a window on your Mac; nothing is signed without you.
- Sign on the document. See the PDF, draw your signature with the trackpad or mouse, and place it on the page.
- Several documents at once, with one signature.
- For your company: your name, role and company stamp go with the signature when you agree.
- In 11 languages.
